Sherlock and John are hired by Mycroft and Lestrade to follow a man accused of blackmailing members of the British government. However, this involves following him out of the country on a plane, and Sherlock unfortunately has a fear of flying, especially when he meets their pilot, Captain Martin Crieff.

“Didn’t I say don’t look?” Sherlock hissed. Grabbing John’s shoulder, he spun him around and threw them both around the corner into a phone booth.
“Ow, Sherlock,” John muttered, rubbing his shoulder.
“Sorry. But we can risk him noticing us watching him. You know that. I’ve worked too hard on this case for you to go and screw everything up because you can’t follow orders.”
“I can follow orders. I’m just more used to giving them.” John said haughtily.
Sherlock bit back a smile, bringing his coffee to his lips to hide it.
